sEmoa
| sEmoa ( Stefan Cimpeanu ) is an electronic music producer and DJ developing club-focused electronic music. As a producer, sEmoa’s sound is rooted in psychedelic, dancefloor-oriented minimal techno and stripped-back sensual house, informed by Romanian minimal practices, London’s underground club culture, and the foundational traditions of Chicago house and Detroit techno. Releases feature records and digital EP’s, including Playedby, Podvodo, Heardof, Onderons, DuckIt, Stamp Paris. Alongside club work, they have created bespoke sound design for fashion shows and film.Their work has been supported by the likes of Rhadoo, Dan Andrei, Piticu, Raresh and regularly perform at 17 Little Portland Street, Starlane, All My Friends in London, Bar Ton, Control Club in Bucharest. In 2023, sEmoa co-founded Hours London, an independent electronic music label and event series supporting emerging underground artists and increasing accessibility in nightlife for neurodivergent audiences. |
