sEmoa (Stefan Cimpeanu) is a Romanian born, London-based emerging electronic music DJ / Producer and co-founder of Hours London. Their sonic signature stands at the intersection of house, techno and electro, with an extended ambient persona - evident in their expansive dicography as well as in their surprising and captivating performances.
Their journey in the underground is evident between the UK and Romania, having shared the decks with the likes of Dan Andrei, Matteo Manzini, Harry Mccana, Suciu in spaces like The Bath House, Starlane, Bar Ton, Control Club, Molotov and many more.
Eclectic in style, sEmoa's productions are ranging from energetic acid lines to stripped down percussive rhythms, constantly pushing their sound to new dimensions. Throughout their musical career, sEmoa has released across vinyl and digital for : STAMP Paris, Duckit Records, Podvodo, PhonicHouse1, Simbioza, Wonderground, with a wider portfolio on Bandcamp.
sEmoa began their sonic journey with classical music in Romania, initially playing the guitar, then the piano. This followed their discovery of the underground electronic music scene, playing and promoting their first local events in their hometown, later moving to London at the age of 18 to pursue their dream of becoming a musical artist.
